Dr. Monica is married with one child who attends Pima East. Her son was born with Spina Bifida and competes on the U of A Adaptive Track Team. She has been a competitive athlete herself and that’s why she has expanded her treatments to the rest of the body including shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, etc. Sports are fun but can be damaging to the body if not taken care of. When injury occurs, our bodies respond in a number of ways. Some of the key components of this reaction include protective muscle spasms, restricted joint movement and inflammation.
